Study on High Temperature Performance of Asphalt Mixture and Correlation of Its Evaluation Indexes

Abstract In order to better evaluate the high-temperature performance of asphalt mixture, based on conventional rutting test and Hamburg test, this paper further studies influence temperature, grading type shear resistance mixture by using uniaxial penetration compression test. Based Mohr Coulomb theory, cohesive force internal friction angle were calculated. analysis variance, significance temperature gradation characteristics was studied. Linear regression used reveal correlation between fractal dimension treated characteristics. Finally, index evaluation analyzed. The results show that has a significant effect cohesion pairs, Dc coarse aggregate is positively correlated with angle, strongest correlation. It indicates can be improved increasing passing rate sieve hole above 4.75 mm in design. R2 at 35 ℃ higher than 0.9, which belongs extremely strong characterize mixture.
